Ms. Zarazúa's father Aquilino Zarazúa came to the United States in 1945 as a Bracero or Guestworker. Thanks to his hard work and support Ms. Zarazúa was able to pursue formal education and become a California attorney. She maintains her own law practice in Monterey County, California, and has been in practice since 1987.

In 2003 Ms. Zarazúa was appointed by Mexico's former President Vicente Fox to see as Honorary Consul of Mexico for Monterey and Santa Cruz counties; this is a life appointment. She has also served on the board of the Claremont Colleges with a degree in foreign languages. She earned an MBA from UC Berkeley; a JD from Santa Clara University;  and LL/M from Golder Gate University. While attending Santa Clara University Ms. Zarazúa served as a Comments Editor for the Law Review and was honored with the Best Oral Advocate Award in the law school's Moot Court Competition she has completed studies in Oxford, England; Rome, Italy; and Guadalajara Mexico.

 

Ms. Zarazúa represents individuals and families with respect to immigration legal matters. More specifically. she handles removal defense, bond hearings, family-based petitions; inadmissibility waivers, and TPS issues.
